Cowell attended Radlett Preparatory School and also the independent Dover College as did his brother, nevertheless left after taking GCE O levels. He passed in English Language and Literature and attended Windsor Technical University where he gained another GCE in Sociology.  At age 17, he dated product Paula Hamilton. Cowell's father's connections in the beginning got him rehired for the reason that assistant to an A&R person. Following in 1984, Cowell and Burton found up with Pete Waterman for the first time.
Mike Stock, Matt Aitken and Pete Waterman formed the songwriting and record producing trio termed Stock Aitken Waterman. Stock Aitken Waterman helped Fanfare in the second half of your 1980s producing several attack singles for Sinitta together with licensing The Hit Manufacturing plant SAW Compilation Albums to Fanfare. Next in 1989, Fanfare's father or mother, Public Company, found again in difficulties, forcing Fanfare into the hands of BMG, and an in-debt Cowell was forced to move back in with their parents.
